Along 

                                          (usage and explanation with examples)

1. ఒక దాని యొక్క ఒక చివరి నుండి ఇంకో చివరి వరకు, లేదా ఒక దానికి సమాంతరంగా అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు 
    He is walking along the beach 
    అతను beach  లో (బీచ్ కి సమాంతరంగా ) నడుస్తున్నాడు 
   I looked along the shelves for the book I needed.
    నేను నాకు కావాల్సిన పుస్తకం కోసం అల్మారాలో వెతికాను ( అల్మారాలో ఈ చివరనుంది ఆ చివరివరకు చూస్తూ వెతకటం అని అర్థం )
The room was so dark, I had to feel my way along the wall to the door.
 ఆ రూమ్ చాల చీకటిగా ఉంది. నేను ఆ గోడకు సమాంతరంగా దారిని feel అవుతూ డోర్ వద్దకు నడవాల్సి వచ్చింది . 
Draw a line along the dotted  points . 
ఆ చుక్కలను అన్ని కలుపుతూ ఒక లైన్ గీయండి . 
2.  ఒక వరుసలో అని తెలిపేటప్పుడు
Cars are parked all along the road . 
కార్లు రోడ్డు పొడుగూతా పార్క్ చేసి ఉన్నాయి . 
3. Somewhere along the road there is a petrol pump 
   ఈ రోడ్డులో ఏదో ఒక చోట petrol pump ఉంది .
